P-Funk
Talking Heads
Radiohead
REM

I can totally relate.

Good call on The Clash. My all time band was a toss up between them and the 'Mats but seeing the 'Mats live up close and personal pushed me over the edge.

For me this video is the rat's ass. "Can't Hardly Wait", probably my favorite song ever and a great performance from Westerberg and a crack band. Aired 12/93.

Well If I have to pick a favorite that I simply couldn't go without it would have to be...

James Taylor

As far as live stage shows go, I still say KISS is the best.  So many bands tried to copy them.  When they did their concerts in full dress and makeup they were hard to top.  Those days are long gone though.   Paul and Gene have slowed down in their old age.   But, you have to give them credit though, they still go out there and mix it up.  Rock on guys!

I have been giving the "Pleased to Meet Me" reissue a lot of airtime lately. PW is one show I will travel for!!! Here is a slightly different take on "Can't Hardly Wait"... Jesus rides besides me, he never buys any smokes...

That is great news. I haven't seen them since Jim Marshall was in the band.

Mostly in Europe, but I am sure they will find their way.....another band I have been blasting on my B&W 801s are STP!!!

Jim Martin?  Not part of the reunion.  So far only European festival dates have been announced, but my fingers are crossed that they'll play in the US.  I will go anywhere in the States to see this band one more time.  Truly a unique and sublimely talented band.
