no matter how i save and upload the pics to Image Shack they scale it down and throw on that stupid resolution tag on the bottom of the image.

Who do you use to host images?

Yea their scripting format dose not cut it for me. After I closed down my sites I went with photobucket. Slower than I like but out of all the free sites they seem to have the over all best setup for image hosting. IMHO  ;)

Yep, I use photobucket. Really easy to use.  I scale my pics before I upload them to the bucket though.  Just easier for me.

Also if you don't want to spend the money on image software this is a great freeware app. I've been using it solid for 6 years now. ;)

I'll bring this back up again. I have now been using this for 7+ years. I have it loaded on all 3 computers. It is very easy to use. Check it out. Great for sizing your pics too.

I use Photobucket too...never any problems..

For image manipulation....even though I have the full version of Photoshop I usually just use the photo app that comes with Windows, great for resizing and adjustments and simple to use.....if I need to something more complicated I'll crank up Photoshop

It's also Photobucket for me. I find it very friendly. For scaling, I usually set my camera to it and change/adjust the resolution when I need to.

Since I use Photobucket just for forum pix, I might take Mark's and John's advice on formatting etc.ThumbsUp02.gif
