Yea I will admit I enjoyed his music. Both of my sisters had a crush on him back in the day so sure this hit them hard. Been a rough month. RIP MJ.

I'm pretty conflicted with MJ. He died for me many years ago to be truthful. The Jackson 5 were a big part of my childhood but Michael lost me totally when he started to get weird and change his appearance Regardless a great singer and performer. RIP MJ.

Have to agree with Paxman.  I'm a big fan of J5 but not of the solo career post-Thriller.  However MJ will always be a consummate performer, a complete entertainer.

Pax - you are 100% correct. It brings up some conflict in me, too.

MJ was weird, potentially sinful, and in many cases not from the same planet as you and me. But yes - he sure could sing.

In spite of my personal feelings about allegations surrounding him, he leaves behind a "family". I feel for them.

MJ - gone, not likely to be forgotten, possibly not missed by some accusors, ridiculed by some, adored by many, Peter Pan in a suit that changed colors - but a musical and dancing talent that the world will probably never see again.

Local radio stations here in Western Australia have been playing his music all day (it is midday here now). Perhaps that is the best way to remember him. As he was.

I'm not nor was I ever a big fan of MJ but he sure could sing and dance.  I still see folks breaking out his moonwalk move.  RIP MJ

MJ was an icon and he was a troubled soul .... Apparently he was on alot of perscription drugs including strong painkillers, which can slow your heartrate ... I guess it was too slow, eh ? I wish he could've made a comeback .... because he is in a very small group with that kind of talent ... RIP

Okay...I didn't care for him at all.  Did he have talent?  Yes.  Did he abuse it?  Yes.  He was a terrible role model to those who were his audience...while I wished him no ill will, I truly believe the world is better of without him...at least our children are safer!
