One of my favorites too Tony ThumbsUp02.gif got a chance to see the play a couple years ago when Chazz Palminteri brought it back to Broadway...it was an incredible one man monologue.  Before i saw the play i never knew that it was a play first and DeNiro saw it and talked him into making it a movie.

It is an all around great flick. I 100% agree. Also on AMC right now is Gangs of New York and Pulp Fiction at 8pm. Great movies on today!

IMHO Palmenteri is an underrated actor. I did not know that it was a play first.

IMHO Palmenteri is an underrated actor. I did not know that it was a play first.

I agree..the amazing thing is it was a one man show...he played all the roles himself
