Although The Infectious Disease Center feels that there is little to no risk of real infection from the Mad Cow disease, they are really concerned about................

....................the side effects.

You know.................like:

1.) Foaming at the mouth.
2.) Buying ornate, diamond gangsta rings for each finger.
3.) Using excessive facial hair dye.
4.) Having random tatoos placed in awkward places.
5.) Chronic traits of clinical depression masked by ego driven outbursts.
6.) Writing a fictional novel and discovering it is ALL about yourself.
7.) Misfiring loaded weapons which you do not really own.
8.) Attending concerts of burned out senior citizens.
9.) Claiming parenthood of unknown children.
10.) Uncontrollable sniffing and nose rubbing.
11.) Writing checks you do not intend to really send.
12.) Severe halitosis.
13.) Wearing the color black 24/7.
14.) Wearing logo jewelry that no one recognizes.
15.) Incessant jabbering.

............................and on and on.

If anyone exhibits even ONE of these peculiar side effects, PLEASE seek immediate medical help!

Please do not panic!  This may just be an isolated case! Only time will tell.

I know Oscar, I was just kidding. But someone will have to explain the mad cow reference to me sometime. Not to mention more than half of the references on Rick's list. PM is fine

But we really do have excellent beef around here :dude:

The haste caused by my concern about this nasty illness obviously caused me to type really fast and possibly leave crucial details out. For example: Infectious Disease Control Center as opposed to the Infectious Disease Center.

My aplogies to all, but this virulent strain of a deadly malady has me all upset and acting with rampant concern and speed!

For any who may have had communications from any of the listed agencies, OR from any individual supposedly infected in this tragedy, or their representative(s) please take their cautions/admonitions with a grain of salt. Complete and utter self dillusion should have been listed as Side Effect #16 !! In fact there is a well written article in the latest issue of The New England Journal Of Medicine exploring what they are referring to as Egomaniacal Habituation Of Purloining as a/the possible culminating result from any number of 3 or more of the exhibited side effects in tandem or exhibited within a 1 or 2 hour time span collectively.

It also appears that the research has uncovered a causal effect between possible Mad Cow Disease and exposure to high frequency broadcast signals and high intensity lighting. This effect has NOT been documented nor confirmed by either blind studies or scientific data. It is ONLY a supposition at this time. But exercise extreme caution in this regard! Turn off your Surefire flashlight if you are standing in a field under a  microwave tower!

:X:X:X Only YOU can prevent this insiduous disease from spreading wildly!

You have taken the side effect list up to 18 with a possible 19th entering the picture. Is refered to as "clucking".

Okay, we're to pray for an antidote, seek immediate medical help, don't panic AND yet somehow, some way we must stop this insidious disease because it may be an isolated case.

The only solution I can figure is to turn off the tv at very specific hours of very specific days....i.e. Thursdays, Sundays, Mondays.  Surely, that will contain the spread of what has developed.  Does this have a modicum of sense to it?

PS--you move around a lot; read like fascinating locales.

What a great idea!

As with most of life's brilliant solutions and creative responses to plague, disease, war, famine, pestilence, etc. the finding of a REAL cure started with just such a simple idea!

Next time you feel potential harm or possible exposure to this terrible illness..............just stand up, turn off ALL appliances and start making "clucking" sounds!
:):):):)

It just might save YOUR life!

Regretfully, it seems that even if the suspected "carrier" of this dread malady were diagnosed as "disease free", NO ONE wants to be "like" em'  !!!

Conversely, it appears that NO ONE even marginally "likes" em' in any regard!

Tis a shame I say! A shame!

:X:X:X

Wonder if this affliction leaves a scar?
