those of you who gave me advice on how to handle getting rid of the paint left on my car.    Here's how it played out:

Yesterday--rubbing compound $3.......didn't work  :(

Today--paint thinner $3........didn't work  :(

Today--body shop buffing $10......WORKED!snoopy1.gif

THANK YOU ALL........I REALLY APPRECIATED YOUR HELP  :D

P.S.  I think the only reason the first two ways weren't a "go" for me was that I don't have the necessary strength (or patience) for it.  The fellow who could have done it is out of town.

#1

"It simply needs to be "buffed" out, but I highly recommend that you have it done professionally by either a body shop or car detail shop.  It is a very easy process, but if you try it yourself, you could do more harm than good!"

#2

"Can't help you there, but there are members who live in your "neck of the woods" who may be able to help and give you some recommendations!"

Gee, no dictionary this time??? :D

"Neck of the woods" and "buffed" do not compute.  Ergo, #2 (see below) does not fit into telling me twice, sir.  happy1.gif
