Although I wasn't (although damn close to it) enlisted in the Military, I gotta give props to my brothers who I'm damn proud of.

My brother Rob who was in Germany for most of his 9 year enlistement until he went to Iraq and did ~18 months or so.  Being in the infantry he saw many of his close friends die right in front of him.  If it wasn't for Iraq (or 9/11), he would have been a career guy.  He was home shortly after those 18 months in Iraq right around the 4th of July, and everytime a firework went off in our neighborhood he wanted to duck under a table.. saddest thing I've ever seen.  I'm very lucky to have him in my life and stand up in my wedding after the fact..

My other brother Adam, spent 2 years on the North/South Korea border before going to Afganistan for 8 or so months.  He's been in the Army for just around 4 years and as of December this year I'll have both of my brothers home for good (hopefully they don't call either of them back).

I have THE ultimate respect towards anyone in the Military whether they barely make it through bootcamp or spend an entire career doing it.  They deserve any and all gratitude possible.
