First post outside of the "Introduce Yourself" thread!

Just finished resizing my 22mm Watchadoo bracelet for my Seiko SKXA35. This has got to be the best bracelet I've ever bought for a watch! Very solid and heavy.

I'm being thrify at the moment, so instead of ordering the proper pin tool or punches, I resized it using a block of wood with a hole drilled in it, a workshop clamp (the kind that tightens by pulling a hand lever), a broken 1mm drill bit, and a small hammer.

So I just finished the final adjusting, and it came out pretty good. I saved some money, as the whole outlay was only a couple of bucks. I had most of the tools lying around already.

By the way, I got this from e-Boy, and the transaction was pain-free. I won the auction for $42.50, which basically meant I got shipping for free. It took exactly seven days to get from OZ to Hawaii.

I'm loving it! Maybe I'll get some pics up soon.

Good score and doing the mod yourself makes it even better! I like the look of a notched big bracelet on smaller lugs. But you know you gotta get pics up if you want to make us jealous.

Okay, bear with me, as I don't do too many pic postings on forums. Here's a wrist shot of the Watchadoo on a Seiko SKXA35:

And a profile shot of the bracelet:

And finally, edge on where you can see the entire setup:

Hope they come out. I'm really loving this bracelet. You definitely know you are wearing a hunk of steel when you've got this on.

Looks great!

get yourself one of these if you're going to be sizing bracelets often. Cheap enough too.

Thanks for the advice! I've been looking for one that's inexpensive, yet not a piece of junk that will quit on me after the first resizing.

I'm eventually get one of those, along with a good springbar tool. I'm thinking of getting them off of the Otto Frei website. Anyone have good or bad to say buying from them?

I just received an order from them. Quick and painless and nice tools.

Congratulations on discovering the Watchadoo...consensus on the bracelet is the same as yours.  I currently have 2...a "brushed" on my Hammy Khaki Field Chrono and a "blasted" on my ORSA 3T.  Just "won" a "polished" Watchadoo the other day for my VIXA Type 20!
