Scored these off of someone who sold the watches meant for. I missed them when being sold due to doing some home improvement projects so destiny brought them back around to me. LOL :D A 26mm custom done to fit 24mm lugs and a 24mm done up to fit 22mm lugs. Just like the one with Ted's custom diver clasp some awesome straps. ;) Attachment: TedSucustom2.jpg (Downloaded 85 times)

Very nice... I think they really are a huge plus on many watches looks wise.. and I am with you, I like the nice regular diver clasp over the "ted su" clasp.. Last edited on Thu May 29th, 2008 04:52 pm by Crue4 |

Thanks. ;) I do like the diver clasp but with other than big chunky watches or large divers you have limits of use. These can be worn with many different types of watch styles.

Fellows, I've also bought a set of 26mm and now am wondering exactly how to 'notch' them down to 24mm (for my 'Zillas). I apologize in advance if the matter has been discussed before. Cheers, Marcello GT

I apologize in advance if the matter has been discussed before. Not quite sure how it was done but due to the precision I would assume no less than a utility or craftsman's scalpel. Would need to be very careful with a steady hand.

I'm not sure a craftsman knife or scalpel alone will work. I have a couple of sets of Ted's kevlar straps and they all have stainless steel tube liners on the lug ends. I've ruled out pliers(e.g. nippers or sidecutters) because the tube would probably collapse around the cut. Your best bet would probably be a Dremel with a die cutter attachment or a small jewelers hand saw.Once you have cut through the tube you can then make a nice clean cut through the nylon with a scalpel. You can heat up the blade just prior to cutting and as you cut the heat will cauterize the fabric which results in a cleaner cut with no strings. I know it seems like alot of work Marcello, but thats the method I used to notch mine with.
