Pig buckles that is......

Swung by Singapore over the weekend and bought some stainless steel pig buckles in 24mm for my PAMs and my Enzos. Each buckle is about 4.5mm thick with a very robust pin. Here they are. 2 are in polished steel and 1 is in brushed finish. They are heavy, thick and sturdy. Although the submarine outline isn't "punched out", I think the entreprenuer-creator used 2 pieces: the main buckle itself and then the pre-cut submarine, which he welded in and cleaned out. I would have preferred the total cut-out version but my searches yielded zippo results.

Shown in the picture below are the 3 buckles. I haven't polished them yet so there are some smudges/swirls from the blue sticker protective packaging. For a sense of scale, I included a big brushed GPF-PreMod on a light tan strap and the usual Pam-sized buckle on an Enzo black rubber strap. You will see that each buckle's size and dimension is somewhere between those 2 other buckles featured.

Shown below is the brushed version in 2 perspectives

And here below are the 2 polished versions

They will all go into service soon on some of my other straps and watches.

Thanks for looking. Hope you like them.:)

Very nice custom buckles bigrusty!!!!cool10.gif

They look both very nicely constructed/finished and (like you said) very thick , heavy, and substantial.

Will definitely add a nice custom touch to any strap you put them on!!!ThumbsUp02.gif

Can't wait to see them on some strap/watch combos.
