I just logged into the http://www.isofrane.com website and noticed that they are selling 24mm straps in orange now.

They didn't tell me, or reserve the first strap off the line for me, despite their written promise to do so...

Ah well, stuff happens. mistake.gif And it is not like I am their biggest potential customer...

In my experience, getting Doxa customer service to follow through on ANYTHING takes LOTS of hounding by phone.  Promises to "get back to you next week" are meaningless to them.  Even email reminders go unanswered.

Some claim it's a recent phenomenon due to the ramp-up for Basel, but my poor CS experiences go back to last fall.

Thanks hoppes!

I have had stellar service from them up until now. But a broken promise is just that.

Has left me a bit cold on the whole thing, but I will buy one anyway - I have been waiting for an orange 24mm for quite a while. My messages to them are in their system from the moment I discovered that they were making them again. About 4 messages exchanged with them in reference to this particular "first off the line" between December last year and now. I don't believe in "hounding" people. I figure that their CS should be at least minimal. This was one that slipped through to the keeper, I guess.

I felt special for a moment there, and now I don't.

Ian you know damn well you're special... well at least to me!toon1.gif

I'm confused... it appears Isofrane let you down but yet we've drifted off into Doxa land.

You know all of Isofrane's resources are utilized keeping Jeff (bigrustypig) in straps. Don't feel bad.

I sincerely do understand your disappointment in a failed promise, though. I hate to admit but when I'm given a promise similar to the one you received, I don't believe it for a moment though I think the promiser really genuinely means it when they make the promise. In this day and age personal relations and follow though are the exception rather than the rule.

You're a good man, Pax! Now I feel better...

And I forgot about Jeff's straps - IMHO he rates as their #1 buyer at the moment - by a long way! I bow to BRP and will now get off my grandstand... :)

I am not that surprised, in all honesty, Pax. But why the hell make promises and then not keep 'em? Would rather they told the truth and then we can all get on with more important things. I guess I have had a bad week and this just added to the pile.

And I am gonna buy from "Jeff's secondhand store" when I need an isofrane...  subtlelaugh.gif

Cheers good sir!
