Hello,

I just received my Dievas Vortex Pro but sadly Dievas does not offer bracelet option for the watch..  I know that Kobold ti PVD bracelet will flush fit the watch but I do not wish to spend more on the bracelet than the watch..  Does anyone know if there is cheaper alternative for this watch?

Thanks!

Hey katiedaddy...first, welcome to 3T !!!

I haven't seen too many metal bracelets on the Vortex, but (and the 3T search engine is your friend here), Oscar put a blasted mesh bracelet on the regular Vortex some time ago here:

http://timetechtalk.com/view_topic.php?id=20028&forum_id=30&highlight=dievas+vortex+on+bracelet

Gives you a feel for what a mesh looks like on the vortex case anyway.

All credit goes to Oscar for the great photos!

You can also check out this link to a Vortex bracelet experiment:

(pics of the Vortex on a bracelet and again on a mesh are here)

I also have a couple of ti watches and searched for a good ti bracelet to match what I have. No luck.

The lug horns are long and the distance from the lug holes to the case side makes it challenging to find a curved variant that's also in ti.

I suspect Anders may have something on the drawing board to eventually cater to bracelet lovers.

As much as I like the strap that came with Vortex, it's just too hard to take it on and off because the buckle tongue is too short.  I can't wait to go home and dress it with different strap.

why is it everytime someone buys a Vortex the same bracelet question comes up,over and over, and over!...using the search engine on 3T or reading the Dievas forum on 3T will give you all the variables...mesh is the only reasonable option imo if you don't want to spend on the Kobold bracelet,Anders will be releasing a "non Metal" bracelet in the very near future......which you can read about in the Dievas forum...

Oops, I forgot to include mesh option on my original post as I already knew mesh was another alternative.  Anyway, I received the mesh today and put it right on and it does enhance its look IMO.

the mesh looks awesome...Congrats!ThumbsUp02.gif
...the Vortex is 1 of the most successful micros made to date...1st production was 09',and hopefully 1 day a bracelet will arise from Dievas, but knowing how Anders likes to keep his prices down, and how much a Ti or 6Steel bracelet may cost ,it may not be for everyone.I am looking forward to the "non metal" bracelet that is in production...it sounds very "intriquing"

Looks great...the PVD mesh really compliments the overall look of the Vortex PRO!thumbsup.gif  This seems to be the best metal option for the Vortex and it looks good on a number of rubber, leather strap option too IMO!

Thanks for the great pics...enjoy!

Personallky I think the end of the mesh bracelet looks lost in the long thick lugs, I would prefer a nice thick leather or rubber, maybe a nice isofrane? a Zulu rocks the Vortex as well.

Did a little photoshop on the pic with the black mesh to bring up the highlights a bit. I think black mesh looks pretty nice with that watch.

Did the same with Oscar's pic so you can see the bracelet a tad bit better. Very cool with the mesh.
