I got in on the DWP pre-order last June, but when it arrived in March I had mixed emotions about it. Something wasn't clicking for me with the bracelet. When the OEM rubber came in, I thought that might be the solution, but my large wrists meant it didn't fit right. After that I decided to just tuck it away for awhile and decide whether to sell it or not. Enter Scott (aka Timesofplenty) and Arsenal Straps. We've all drooled over the watches & straps in his posts on the WRUW threads, so I decided to check out what he had for sale. Turns out, my 8.5" wrist isn't going to work with standard straps, so Scott kindly worked with me to make a custom strap and get the right fit & stitching on the type of leather I wanted. The BB photos don't really do it justice, but it came in last night and I couldn't wait to share. Everyone with a chunky diver owes it to themselves to consider an Arsenal strap. Now on to the photos of my new custom 1940s Swiss Ammo leather strap....

Good blend! I guess that the original trouble with the steel bracelet is that it had a straight shape: It should have come around the case to look right. This vintage leather fits much better than the rubber anyway. I would also have tried it on a black 5 rings Zulu for outdoor/water activities

Scott's Arsenal straps really stand out to me (fantastic leathers and outstanding workmanship down to the smallest detail IMO)...and this one is no exception!!! Outstanding looking strap and looks great on your DWP! Enjoy this combo!
