Just received my alligator strap from Rich Winslow at Global Watchband.

Because of my tiny wrist, it was sort of a problem which he handled very well.  He also attached the Push Button Deployant Clasp for me.

I don't know if that's SOP, but I was grateful.  :)  Anyhow, for what it's worth, I do recommend him.

Here (WIS, etc.) the excepted term is deployant.

The shopping channels, etc. tend to use deployment which technically is incorrect.

I just call it a thingy, really. I've seen it advertised both ways. But I'm sure your right by definition.

It is deployANT!     end of conversation and none of this tomato/tomahto parc, sir!  This is not a laughing matter.  Lives/careers/etal hang in the balance.

TT said deployant 100 yrs. ago, and he is God in re watch terminology........again, end of conversation.

Mike is correct, TT is correct, and I, sir, am correct!   Do not force me into using the "mad" icon........

And, since when, has the printed word become gospel? hmmmm?

I have someone working on it for me because I am digitally-challenged.  It's just a strap and deployant........didn't know it was such an exciting thing to anyone but moi/me.  :?

Heh... I think I have 3x more straps and bracelets than I do watches..  change em sometimes several times a day.  U can totally change the personality of the watch with the right strap.  And I love deployANTs (glad u didnt play the mad smiley card on Sean) - even on rubber straps!

Have to admit to only liking push button dual deployants, however.

That okay?  :D

Hey, may have to try a bracelet; never thought of that.  My red ostrich is my favorite strap along with an alligator.

Okay, will shut and up now........ciao
