a question has come up about the dual bezel dive/24hr. and I asked Berg how it would work?....there are 2 choices he would like to hear the members opinions on...1. that the 24hr. bezel would be fixed or stationary while the dive bezel would rotate uni-directionally and 2. they both rotate together...what are the views and opinions of the members thankyou.gif

Given the movement that is being put into the watch (non-gmt), and the bezel markings (i.e. 13 to 24hrs) as currently designed, the only functional choice would obviously be 1.

However, if Berg can change the bezel markings (i.e. 1 to 12 hrs instead), then please go with option 2 - that way, the bezel can be used to track a 2nd timezone. I hope that can be the final design.

cheers.

the bezel in the drawing would be the fixed GMT bezel and if everyone prefers the GMT rotate with the Dive bezel it would be marked 1-12 to track a secondary timezone when not using the bezel for diving hand6.gif

The dual bezel is awesome!!!!...and a rotating 1 - 12 would be great...a stationary 1 - 24 bezel with no GMT hand is next to worthless.

Agree the 1-12 bezel would be better. Not having a GMT movement and hand the 24 hour bezel would not have much use.

OK now I'm confused. Is the Orsa LE and the Sea Viper one and the same or 2 different watches?

OK, sorry Skip, I was half asleep when I read the original post.....crap.gif  sounds great.... I would be in for this for sure....

1-12 bezel makes the most sense, with the 2824 movement..

Berg,

Your new project is looking pretty good. I think it fits the sweet spot in size at 44mm diameter and 14.5 mm thick. 22 mm bracelet is good too.

I am looking forward to seeing this develop.

Is it a good idea to also have a colored bezel
