My Sea Viper arrived today, first impressions, what a supurb quality watch. It sits very comfortably on my wrist with the shape of the case and lugs. I love the black dial with the orange hands and markers. The bezel is smooth to operate and lines up perfectly.

This watch has just the right amount of orange for an "orange whimp" like me, one day I may go all the way with a full on orange dial.

In the meantme I will be enjoying my new Sea Viper many thanks to Martin for producing the best Orsa so far.you rock.gif

A few pics, sorry about the fluff on the dial.

My Orsa Sea Viper arrives in the UK as well. Well what can  say. This is a beautifully machined & engineered piece. Martin said he used one of the best watch case makers out there and he wasnt kidding. The bracelet has a nice solid feel overall and i love the solid valve like crown which smoothly screws down.

I love the color of the face with the stick hands which really pop in the sun . This watch designed to be worn on some sun drenched beach. Enough of the dreaming.!!

The PVD bezel looks better in real life as opposed the the pictures i have seen- its so in your face, and i have seen pictures of the watch on a black rubber strap and it looks a great match with the bezel.

The size though at 55mm lug to lug and 45mm wide is at the max for my 7" wrist.

[ normally44mm and 50mm lug length is max for me] but i'm hoping i can get away with it. The watch ideally isfor min 7.25" and perfect for 7.5" to 8"wrists.

I'd better get down the gym and start pumping some iron.!! It weighs 239g with bracelet.

Overal, the design, the 2824 ETA movement, 500m rated & top quality rear case design, swings it for me.

On the down side the lume is good but not C3 [ probably C1 which is white to work with the design better], On any future models i would like to see the duel time markers dropped in favour of larger dive indices [ preferably lumed as well in C3]

This though is only a minor quible and shouldn't take away from an excellent job by Martin and watch manufacturer.. Oh, the protective case is rather neat as well.

Glad they finally landed !

Janner, I know what you mean about the orange! My two Orsas have the only orange on any dial in my collection. Maybe someday I'll have the stones to go all in

The pics are great guys!

Great looking Sea Vipers and glad to see they are making an appearance across the pond. I am really enthralled with the black. It really looks tough. Does it take stones to go al orange? Perhaps...toon1.gif

Congrat's on the Viper.
I got a black one as well and the orange accents throughout gives it just enough flash.
Enjoy..

I think for me to go all orange would require a small stones upgrade. The ruts I let myself get into are wide and deep, I'm afraid.

Hanging out here will eventually kick me out of a few of them!
