I like how it turns out a lot and all color choices are great hand6.gif  47mm may be a little bit pushing for me, but I guess I will have to get a cousin for my King Cuda. cool10.gif

I noticed on the 8215 in my SeaPro that I can 'pseudo-hack' it by reverse winding and holding with the second hand at 12. Similarly I think to the 7S26 movement in the Seiko Monsters?   or do I need more caffeine this morning??

Looks like the movement is an 8205. I am not well versed in the difference(s) between that and an 8215... Anybody?

You can psuedo hack them by applying a bit of backward pressure... don't think it is recommended per the manufacturer.

Strangely enough though the Miyotas are considered bombproof, I have had problems with two... My Magico which arrived DOA and a skeletonized Harley Davidson Bulova for my Pops which was running about 3 hours fast a day. Both are better now!!

my only experience with the movement has been pretty good so far. The seikos I've owned and have now have had no problems. the only thing I have found is they run alittle fast. on average around 15 + secs.a day which isn't bad at all. most of us are used to our watches being +/- 1 to 4 a day which is better than cosc. Just shake the watch to start it and off it goes. I like to be able to hack and wind a movement, but I really don't need those functions on a diver thats not going to be used for military manuvers or any real diving.hand6.gif
