My wife and daughter prepared this for me today - my daughter even took the pics... so here is a pictorial of the pres version of goulash (same as Onkel's but adding some other veggies)....

The ingredients -


Chopping the onions, carrots, bell peppers, potatoes and squash...





Starting the beef cooking and adding the onions...




Moving everything to a slow cooker...



After cooking till veggies done, serving it up with some fresh potato rolls...


Absolutely delish and worth the effort... thanks again chef!  :cool:
