My friends, have you heard of and/or had dealings with chronograph.com? It is an outfit based in Singapore and sort of specializes in Seikos and Citizens. They ship worldwide.

I am in the market for a brand new Seiko SBDC 003, the venerable Sumo in blue dial. I'd value your inputs before I engage.

Thanks.:)

How're you going Jeff.

How's the correspondence going with Lee from Chronograph?  You got my mail about the SKX007 I ordered for my mod-project - delivery was pretty quick, about 1 week to the modder in Kuala Lumpur.

He's definitely one of the "good guys" in my books, and I'd buy more from him if I hadn't already found cheaper options in the stores here.

Hope your experience goes well.

Jon

Hi Jon,

I took your advice, created an email string to establish rapport, placed my order, used my credit card and boom...it went well. The next day, however, chronograph.com got back to me to inform me that my address details conflicted (which is strange). I had to scan my passport over to them to establish my identity. Guess what? In the afternoon of the very next day, the blue Seiko Sumo was delivered to my sister's address in Singapore. It was personally delivered by a guy named Mr. Lee WW, a middle aged gentleman dressed in an immaculate white shirt with a Rolex logo. He must have been the owner or managing director. man, talk about customer service, huh? Chronograph.com is way UP there. Will be dropping by Singapore towards the end of July to get that Sumo.

Thanks again for your tip, Jon. They are really good.

Good to know!  Enjoy your watch and yes Mr Lee is the owner, I should think.
