Could it be some kind of precious stone, like emerald or ruby? Or perhaps black jade, rosarita or some other stone used in jewelry? Am I close? ;-)

Btw, all those jumping icons drive me crazy whilst typing this?

Look the picture: It's metal.
Ruby? At list a 200 carats thermal grown ruby cut down to be a bezel and a back-case? Do you know what you are talking about? I know what I'm talking about: I'm a corodum and precious stones hobbyist.
Emerald? Even weaker stone cracking like sugar because of it's natural veins...Absurd.
Kazim never intended to go into the high luxury trade and I can tell you that stones are far to be any material you want to have on a 1500 meters watch as is the Kazimon 1500 that Kazim try to put in bronze and unusual metal for this new serial.
This unusual metal has to be strong, specially for the back-case if you want anything 150 bars proof ...

The material in the picture has a jade-like appearance. What sort of metal is 'green' unless it is treated to look green?

Ok, you want metal? How about 'aluminum bronze' or 'silicon bronze' ?

The greenish color is due to the bad picture quality: It show like a grey metal to me and Kazim had confirmed it.
Kazim says also that it will have a special luster after polishing...
I seriously tried to find out but those I isolated seems to be too rare to be used there...Maybe it's an alloy...

Looks like tantalum, but it has been already used in watches. May be an alloy of lead, in relation with diving.
