Here is a preview of the first of the new aviation themed watches from Debaufre, the AeroGent.

It has a 44mm case and will use an ETA 2824 movement. Final cost will be announced later, but there will be a reduced introductory price when we are ready to start taking orders.

This is all for now - remember this is just a preview to let you know what is coming....full specs and a date for availability will be forthcoming.

PLEASE DO NOT ASK FOR MORE DETAILS! We will post full information here when we have it!

Hmmm...I'll have to let this new pilot design from Debaufre sink in a little for me...Not sure that I like it better than the previous Nav-B pilot designs.

Interesting, modern interpretation on the old pilot design though....

By the way, I just received an email from Debaufre that states this is available NOW to order (and even at a special introductory price).

this new iteration is not for me.  A little more dressy and a little less utilitarian than i usually go for.  but technically a very nice piece

This is a winner for me..

Blue dial (my favorite color:) ), date at 6 (a petpeave), simplistic and clean design, easy to read dial with hands contrating nicley with dial, great open hand design, 44m size, and ETA 2824 mvt.... Hmm where do i sign?:)

Man you're killing me, my wife is gong to leave me:)

I'll have to agree with Stew77 and Elemental. The AeroGent is ok but lacks something. I still don't know what. Is it because it's not in a black dial? Is it because the sun symbol appears where it is placed?

Somehow and surely just my opinion, this one is not for me. I think the NAV-B was/is the runaway winner from Debaufre' and that's why my NAV-B in 48mm Unitas will be a certifiable keeper.

I have to agree...it does not jump out to me and say "buy me" and I'm not sure why, can't put my finger on it  crap.gif

I believe the Aero Gent is geared to be a more dressy pilot and the blue dial is awesome imo .... once some live pics get posted I think everyone will agree...I like the new hands and can't wait to see one 1st hand or should I say wrist!hand6.gifhand6.gif

at $540. intro pricing for a Swiss Made eta 2824 powered watch is just too good to be true! yahoo.gif

Well, I've been waiting...and while this is a very, very nice watch, it strays a little too much from my desire for a "military/pilot" time piece (I guess I'm more of a traditionalist)...plus, I'm waiting for a Unitas and/or a GMT.  So I guess I'll keep on waiting.

Well done, but as a miltary guy and an instrument rated GA pilot, it's just not quite what I expected...

While I do like the look of this watch I have to say it just misses being one I would want on my wrist. Besides that I'm pretty happy with the Nav-B models I've already picked up from DeBaufre.:D
