Received the Orsa Sea Angler "Silver Surfer" this evening!I can say that they just get better with each model!...Kudos to Orsa on their Sweet 1st "Swiss Made" Sea Angler! My 1st impression was seeing the radiant silver center of the Dial which IMHO adds a bit of Dress to the Angler!hand6.gif

The Crown at the 4 has always been a favorite for me and is well protected on either side!..and at 7mm thick very easy to use!hand6.gif

The Dial has subtle details like the Battleship Gray Inner Ring and matching color on the Hour Hand which adds a Stealth look...and the Awesome Orange Second hand is gently tipped with Lumen!hand6.gif

The Lume is active with the smallest amount of Light and has a nice Foam Green shade  and the numbering on the chapter ring is very noticeablehand6.gif

The Levels of the Dial are Prominent and the Date window at the Six is easy to Read the Bezel is firm and Ratchets  with just enough ease!hand6.gif

The case is 45mm and 16mm in thickness giving the Sea Angler a Noticeable Presence yet well balanced and very Comfortable..the Contrast between the Satin Beaded case and the Polished Bezel are Awesome!hand6.gif

The Caseback is Nicely embossed with the Orsa Sea Angler Logo and clearly etched "Swiss Made" and Numbered for the First Time!hand6.gif

The Lume which was only charged for less than a minute is Much Brighter than the Previous Sea Anglers and a Very Much Welcomed Improvement!hand6.gif

I'm more than Pleased with the "Silver Surfer" and Look forward to the Sea Angler/3T LE !watch2.gif

You lucky bugger, you!!!

As always, your pix and descriptions are simply the best! Thanks for sharing with us.

I have to agree with you based on your pix and our converstations regarding Orsa's continual improvement, that each release just keeps getting better and better. the dial and indices have subtle touches and a more 3-D appearance. the silver center portion is beautiful and must really make that thing POP in the sunlight. The lume is a vast improvement from the previous iterations. Just a beautiful watch to my eyes. The numbered caseback is a nice touch which has been lacking. Overall the watch appears more refined. I certainly hope it hasn't lost its beastly toolish quality which I find appealing.

Of course your fantastic photos may be overly enticing...

My hope is some of this kindness finds its way into our FESTIVUS... Though no matter what we know the work being done on the 3T edition is of the highest quality.

Congrats on the Silver Surrfer, O!! I know this one has been long anticipated...

Wear it well brudda!!

Pax
