Great jobThumbsUp02.gif, I think I also have to learn to work with photoshop, can you also make blue lume?
I hope I get the new drawings from the new case this week, so I can post them  and hear your opinions.

Lume shot (but with the chapter ring). I believe the dial is plenty big, and I like how the markers don't float, but actually bleed into the ring.

Yes... Photoshop is my "jungle-gym"

Rolf...I think you could especially if it was a lume dial...I don't know how many of these dials Stowa made, but the sold them out in a heartbeat....faster than their melon and maroon dials.

Personally I would stick to the main color choices at first. Make sure your quality control is tops. Focus on quality. You already have a good price point. I think the Stowa Pro-Diver is unique in the dial color choices available.

I think the main choices are black, blue, yellow, orange, and also silver!!

There is no harm in going wild but since you must order 100 I would be careful. Build up your client base by producting one good product. Too many companies get caught up in offering too much choice without paying attention to detail.

I would never own a green diver. Maybe for fun but it would never be a keeper. That is just me. I owned a Pink Stowa Seatime and it was a great watch.

I will also mention what makes the Stowa line of watches so successful. First their history, second is the build quality, third is the lume. Stowa produces an incredibly well made product at a reasonable price and delivers a great dive watch. I can read it at night easy, it is accurate and has one heck of a well made case and bracelet.

If you can match the quality build, attention to detail, and lume then you will have a winning product. Choice is always fun to throw into the mix.

Rob

Great input Robzilla!

Keeping on the marketability aspect for just a bit... I add this (from a professional POV, as I deal with this subject all day... every day):

When I work with my clients on strategic marketing of their products, three main factors ALWAYS are in play:

1. Quality (as Robzilla so aptly noted)
2. Uniqueness against the competition (limited editions, packaging, and dial/hands/marker colors and layout, falls into this category)
3. Price competitiveness

The trick is to illuminate the strongest marketing factors you have—especially if you are using a common case/bezel design in the market, and capitalize on the "weak-spots" within the market (ie: unique dial colors.)

If marketed properly, there should be no problem moving 100 units using any of the above mentioned strategic marketing points. hand6.gif

Sorry...I thought it went unsaid that without proper marketing...the best product in the world at the lowest price possible would go unnoticed and unsold!

I would say stick with Black, Blue, Orange and Yellow. yourock.gif  Maybe even make and 2nd Black, Blue, Orange and Yellow version without the carbon fiber dials.

Thanks,

Matt
