Sounds interesting I will see how it could be done, and maybe I can offer a few with logo.

You could do just the MORAY head with open jaws everyone would recognize that.

Hector -

I like turquoise or brite blue for the dial... not sure about a green dial.... my suggestion is that there should be a MORAY EEL logo on the dial... DIVER DOWN RED would work for the logo.

Ralf,

That would be very cool to include the MORAY head w/ open jaws as a logo

ZINEX included a skull and cross bones logo on their recent release TRIMIX and I believe they sold out very quickly.... little details like that go a long way.  ZINEX is adding a red submarine logo on the Super Sub, not yet released. Other good examples: KENZO Nautilus logo and the ANONIMO stylized "A" logo. cool10.gif I think those small details make the watch outstanding and truly make for a Custom watch.

Thanks,

Jim

I'm a newbie to the collecting, but I might be interested in the green.  I would like something that stood out from the sea of usual black, yellow and orange.  The sea foam just isn't for me, but I might think otherwise when there are pics of an actual one.  For me I would like a deep, maybe almost metallic, green.  I could see getting easily hooked on that.

Can't say I'm to sure about the idea for a logo.  I like a simple clean look, like the #1 dial that I pre-ordered.  Sometimes less is more.

I will try to do what you want, but I always have to do a minimum quantity.
The sea foam was a wish of one or two members and I decided to make it because I also love it .  Now it is leading in the Moray pre orders.
We can do everything if enough of you want it, but it is not always possible to bring all of you  under one hat.
Green is a interesting color even Rolex has a green dial.
I think I could  still offer a green, 50 pcs #2 dial will be also enough, so I can make 6 different dials  each  50 pcs.
But what kind of green ??
I would prefer  a color like the 3t logo or  a Kawasaki racing green or a dark british racing green.

For the logo,  I must admit I don't know who to do it, a skull or diver is easier than an eel or moray head with an open mouth.
Next thought,  where to place it on the dial??
I also think that most prefer without logo except the logo will be really cool looking, but I have no idea how to do it.
You see no good cards for a logo.

I'm a sucker for anything in British racing green.  Espesially with white hands and lettering!!!  Still not sure if logo would take away from an uncluttered/clean look? Maybe if it was small, simple and tastefull, put in place of the 500m text, done in raised white to match hands and lettering.

Ralf --

Assuming it is possible, the logo would probably look good in the  6 - 9 quadrant... this is where ZINEX placed pirate skull.... same location for ANONIMO and Nautilus logo.

I am sure that someone with graphic design skills can digitize the Moray Eel jaws and reduce it to a suitable logo.

Thank you for considering this option.

Jim

Here's a possible logo.  It's a Moray Eel about to snatch up another fish, skull of course.  Found an image and did some quick photoshop with it.  Could also easily remove the fish and have only the skull.

Interestingly, they have two sets of jaws, the inner one (whiter in logo example) is used to pull pray in.

Now to see if I can get the image to come up, first time trying it here.

I like the British Racing Green idea. Is Kawasaki green like electric green or like a lime green color?

If you go to the BENARUS web site, look at the Moray Eel that is shown introducing the new watch... just do an outline of the picture that Ralf has on the web site... that would be simple, and will work.
