Well, I'm not sure how well it turned out, but here is the requested logo of the Eel head.  I tried to keep it from looking like a sock pupet, hope it is something like expected.

I did a photoshop line drawing in silver, and then added a greenish color fill to illustrate the Lume filled in.  I tried to make the two go together to give the logo some 3D effect.  Then gave it a black outline for a little punch.  Perhaps the lume color is a little to green, but it gets alittle closer to the Eel look.

This could use more work, but thought I would see what others thought.  We'll see if this particular rendition warrents more time put in first.

The above logo I posted of the Eel head doesn't look great in the large version like that.  It is done that way to create a better look in the smaller version on the dial.

The large version is also kinda made up of what are almost like blob areas of color, using silver, lume color and black out line, because I'm also trying to take into consideration what can actually be reproduced on the dial.  You can't get to carried away with fine detail in these because I believe you can quickly out do what can actually be manufactored.  Hope that makes sence.

So far I think I am a fan of either the logo with the skull, perhaps my personal favorite, or the full Eel body.  Here's the full Eel body filled in with Lume.

I don't think it's to bad, but maybe could use some black outline to clean up the detail.

I personally like the darker green color the best. I am not sure of the eel graphic replacing the number 12. I think I like the standard number 4 dial arrangement, but either add the logo at the lower left corner, or replace the 500m with the logo.

As far as the graphic goes, I think the original one as a skeleton is best.

I too like the darker green much better, however, not liking the eel graphic at all, especially not in place of the 12

Agree. the graphic takes away from the look of a simple vintage diver that this case and dial represent. I like the dark green... I wouldn't buy it, but it is cool. I am down for #33, Black dial #2, polished hands, blasted case and I can't wait to get it!

MORESNOW DAYS

The HEAD logo is excellent, so too the full body...  You might want to try enlarging the full body... and try the logo in place of the "9"  ... noon is too promonent, and I tend to agree that the logo at 12 is somewhat distracting of the simplicity of the watch.

Or move "BENARUS" to the position of 500 meter, and then enlarge the logo at noon.

Try these variations.

The background color... at least on my monitor looks great.

Or stretch the eel long & wavey just above 500 meter and put the 12 back on the dial... this might work and find better support.

Great ideas, I'll have to see if I can find some time this evening and give it a try.

I also agree with the others, the logo needs to be set so not to take away from the original character of the watch, or no logo at all.

Hi Ev1,

My 1st post here on the forum.

Regarding the eel logos... I too agree the "head" logo would take away from the 12 position. it`s a natural place for it to be however and couldn`t be used anywhere else...

The "full body" logo and maybe a caption could look good at 7:30 position... equalizing with the "date" position. I feel this would not take away to much from the watch.

I also like the darker green color as well.

Being a future sea devil owner... This " Moray Eel" watch could be a knock out...

Great Ideas everyone...

Ralf !!  Your A "Class Act" in my book...         thankyou.gif

Best Regards,

Cruzzco
