Hi, I've been talking to Ralf about possibly having a Moray Eel green dial for the new watch. If we get 10 people to commit he will make them. Is there any interest? Personally I was thinking of a bright electric green that is less lime green/ fluorescent than the 3T logo. Any takers or opinions? I like green 354 or that type. I'm trying to find a Pantone color chart so people can express their opinions, but I am having a lot of trouble. If anyone could post a link that would be great. Thanks guys.

Matt

Here is a really crappy mock up I did using a bad Mac paint program. It gives you some idea of the contrast. Ralf or Mods please delete if this is inappropriate. Imagine real PVD instead of a PVD watch burned with acid and run over, which is what my picture looks like.
BTW: I personally prefer the face with the numbers.

I think a GREEN MORAY EEL LOGO on the dial would be cool... or ZODIAC style "serpent" hands for sure.

I like Pantone 306, 3125, 3145, 327... so I would commit to  those colors.happy1.gif

You could do just the MORAY head with open jaws everyone would recognize that.

That is sort of what I had in mind. I would just like it a little less lime green I guess. I just wanted to get some responses. Just bought a Doxa and don't know if I will be in or not though.

How about PMS 361 or 368, Its like the 3T but not necessarily insanely bright lime, but it isn't Kelly Green like the paintshop mock up I did. Montauk: some of those colors a pretty similar to the Sea Foam he is already offering. Here is a chart I found on the internet. MODS: Please delete if inappropriate.  The 368 is pretty nice, it is pretty close to the color of the script on the site (like Ralk's green in his answer) I would be in for that color. If I remember its kind of similar to the green used on the Orsa 3T Sea Angeler. I might be wrong though.
