Fantastic! You must be psychic or something. I was thinking on my way to work this morning how I need to sort something out like this for my upcoming holidays (vacation!) and then I see this. Saved me a task now. Looks great btw!

Like "Gregger" I prefer the "SD" case and assumed, rightly or wrongly, that is what the Moray would be shipped in.

Part of watch collecting is having all the correct boxes etc. This roll looks IMHO like a tool wrap I can buy at my local DIY store.

The "SD" case looks as though it would contain something special, before opening, whereas this roll disappoints on all fronts.

Please reconsider.

I agree, the 'tool roll' doesn't appeal at all, please think about this.

There appears to be a significant number of people (myself included) that thought the Sea Devil case was going to be the case for the Moray, and that the proposed 'watch roll' doesn't reflect the high standard set by the watch itself, and generally doesn't quite 'cut it'.

Personally, I will never have occasion to use the travel roll, since I almost always take only one watch on each trip.

I will be interested to see how Ralf and Steve respond, given their high level of receptiveness to client feedback in the past.

If cost is an issue then what would the SD case cost without the Benarus logo and matching stich work? But to be honest I really don't care what it comes in because all my autos are on winders and since I never sell watches the boxes, etc. will be stored away and collecting dust.....

Though I prefer a case of some sort, I realize the value in the Moray itself. If it was sent it was sent in bubble wrap housed in a cardboard box, I still think it is one he// of a bargain...

I am wondering why forum input was not considered prior to the production of the wrap up. Every other phase of the watch was open for discussion, allowing us to offer our input and thoughts. Also, if cost was a consideration, and the wraps cost extra money out of Ralf's pocket, I would have gladly saved some money and had my watches ship sans wrap up. The watch box that came with the SD was such a great bonus to an already outstanding watch.

The Moray will be a fantastic watch, with or without a case, just no cherry on top of the sundae. I need to lose weight anyway. goofy

I think this is the same for many, it is for me too. The Benarus boxes get put away. I think new customers who don't have a box might be a little disappointed, but the box gets put away and not used, this travel roll-up can be used with not just your BENARUS watches, but a set of watches that you want to take on a trip. It can also be laid flat in a drawer like the box, and protect the watches while they are not being worn.
