He had some, and they sold out. But I believe Steve is getting more to sell. You need to check the for sale forum: http://timetechtalk.com/view_forum.php?id=8

I see not everybody is happy with the new watch role, so I try to explain why I ordered it.

First,  I use those roles when I go to watch shows ,  the watches are well protected and they need not to much space.
The only disadvantage was that all the regular roles are to small for big and thick watches.
This role is now big enough for Barracudas,  Sea Devils and Morays and many other bigger sized watches.

The next point is that many of you are collectors and have more than one watch and many come with big boxes which need a lot of space at home.

Third point I wanted to offer something new and practical for all of you who already own a Barracuda or Sea Devil , I think you don't need a second box.

The price was not a point, the cost for boxes and  role are quite similar.

I guess and hope you will like it when you get it , I do so and especially when it comes with a Moray  inside ;).

Btw I have also ordered some more of the 4 watch boxes and every Moray first owner gets a $10 discount  if he wants to buy one.

Enjoy your weekend Ralf

Well stated and completely understood... I dig the reasoning and the folder is something out of the ordinary. Kinda like the Moray!

Hmm, the Moray is my first purchase direct from Benarus, but no matter, I don't need the box discount (I already paid for one which is en route to me). Thanks for the offer to first time buyers, Ralf!

I also prefer  the case my Sea Devil came in. Sorry but IMHO that roll looks.. Well kinda cheap.crap.gifI have a SD and 3 Morays on the way. For me the watch box the SD arrived in was part of the excitement of a new arrival. I have a rather large collection and that part of the arrival ritual never gets old for me.

For those of you who have not used a quality watch roll to travel with, you will be amazed at how useful it really is.  (Especially a roll that can hold larger watches - Thanks Ralf!)

A quality watch roll is sooooo much of a better choice....you will see.

Thanks Ralf for adding just one more item to make the Moray special. woohoo.gif

I must say that I agree with you ncmoto.  Whilst I don't have a Moray on order I do hope that my Megalodon arrives in a similar case to the Sea Devil rather than in a roll.

Opinion is clearly divided on the roll versus case -- presumably those members who travel frequently are more inclined towards the roll?

It's all probably academic anyway -- my SD is rarely put awayBouncy.gif

IMHO, it doesn't matter what the timepiece comes in because I never keep them in their original boxes. That's the reason why we buy watch boxes that will hold multiples. I have 3 12 slot boxes and in need of another. However, I like Ralph's idea of offering something different with different models. I have a SD and I relaly love it. I also have a 4 slot box coming. With the addition of the Moray, I will have a roll up case. I don't know of any other company that offers something with each model. I love this concept of having something different. For those who were expecting a case, you now have an opportunity of purchasing the 4 slot at a discount. Ralph didn't have to do this, but this shows what a class act he is and why Benarus has such a following.

Guys anyone who likes to travel with more than 2 watches is going to find this to be very useful. And you don't have to just use it for watches. Ralf did good here. ;) If ya don't like it just send it to me. I can always find a use for stuff like this. LOL :D

I have to say that I am frankly disappointed that the case will not be the same as or comparable to the sea devil.  It may not mean much to some, but that was actually one of the selling points of the watch for me, but then again, that was simply my assumption.

Will there be any tools coming with the watch?  If it is coming with a roll and not a box, does that mean no screwdrivers?

I appreciate everyone sharing their opinions about this, as everyone may feel different than I do, but I don't like any assumptions being made that only those who are new to collecting would appreciate the box.  That may be true for some, but not for all.

All I know is I prefer the SD box over the travel roll.  I travel a lot and only ever take one, maybe two watches with me, so I don't think this will benefit me.  I would appreciate some consideration.
