I was reading some old threads and found the 1st mention of the Megalodon.  This thread is a Moray thread but check out the 5th post...Credit to JohnnyP for naming this beast!

Yes this is where it all started, if you read some other post I recommended Swiss ETA... I would buy it in a heart beat... Ralph did a excellent job producing this beautiful watch, the rest was from forum member input, Steve Laughlin did a lot of graphic design, and another individual I can't remember his name at this time who he was.

I'm very very happy with the end result thankyou.gifThumbsUp02.gif

That is the beginning.

You know this watch was produced just to give JP the chance to get a watch to match his wrist. Damn JP... 10 inch wrist?? Wow!! I've only got one body part 10 inches long...

There's a twist about big wrist perimeters who don't specialy fits with big diameter watches... You can got a wrist who's not so wide but have a big perimeter because your wrist is thick....For exemple: My wrist is only 7.5'' perimeter but I fit well on the huge Egiziano homage (60mm) because my wrist is more wide than thick...
My wrist is 63mm wide and 45mm thick and that's what save me with this watch....The width is mostly determined by the bone construction if you are on "normal weight" for your size I mean.

It was one year ago yesterday that the word Megalodon was mentioned for a watch design...when you think of it a lot was accomplished in just a year.

Can't wait for Series 2!

Paxman loves mesubtlelaugh.gifsubtlelaugh.gif just kiddinghand6.gif What is funny is that Benarus never gave me credit for the idea of Megadolon or mention the name on their web site (only a few knew about the name Megalodon) it's just amazing how people forget where they come from. ??? their head swell when they successful just to find out it could just be popped by a small needle. . Johnny P has a lot of ideas but I will keep them to myself for now, until that time my friend an I will gather the resources to produce the ultimate watch at a reasonable price, it's just a matter of time. Reminder  I'm a perfectionist by naturemistake.gif 3T rock maddest forum on the net
