So while I was doing a patina treatment on my bronze Moray, I decided to "distress" my PVD Moray also. I like the results.

Very nice. I might have to give this a try on one of my pvd moray. What did you use? A scotch brute pad?

Yes, I used a well worn scotchbrite pad and then a cape cod cloth to smooth it out some.

Very well done jswing!!! The results give it a nice broken in and vintage feel...I like it alot and the strap combo is perfect as well! I think I remember Steve from Benarus doing this on one of his pvd pieces some time ago. Enjoy that great combo!

Thanks guys, I appreciate the positive feedback, wasn't sure how well this would go over, but I knew I liked it. I'm thinking of stitchng this strap with some black thread but am on the fence as I kind of like it stitchless too. I did hear that Steve did something similar to one of his PVDs also, would love to see his.
