We are machining the cases. The returned watches are still safe here with me until the factory is ready for them. I have about 40 watches back so far which is more than I expected for the first round of changes, but the CuSn8 does look so much better than the yellow brass, the 30 watches that are not here must not know about the recall yet?

It is more than just a case swap, the factory will be re assembling, regulating, and testing all the watches the same as a new order, so this is going to take more time than we all want it to take.

Helson had a head start on his cases being machined first, and we have to take turns on the machines, it is not a fast process to lathe a bronze case 1 at a time.

We started working on the new run of bronze Morays while we were collecting the recall watches back. The new batch is almost ready and the recall watches will be ready 1 month later. I should have the new bronze Morays near the end of April, and the recall Morays back at the end of May.

The first 60 bronze Moray watches are complete, We are still waiting on the recall bronze watches to be assembled, and the additional 20 new watches. Those will be ready in 1-2 months. We are also waiting for the leather straps before we begin sales and shipping of these first 60 watches. There is a reservation list for these which is full at the moment.
