My understanding is that Invicta honors the 5 year warranty whether You register or not...so I've heard...seeing You bought it from JS ...He should be able to get it serviced for You No Problemo
and Michael the Executive 2106 is IMHO the Nicest Watch Invicta Ever Made...Looks Awesome in the Pic and You Got a Sweet Deal Buddy 
Oscar might be better to answer that question. I think I read here that Invicta under Sterling Time is honoring the 5 year warranty regardless. But, I don't have any first hand knowledge of that.
