From my recollection, my "pusher" was smaller than the collar. What happened then is that the collar ended up on my pusher, which I was very easily able to remove. The pin w/ the other collar came out the bottom of the link, as it should have. I very gently pinched the loose collar, to tighten it up slightly, as it had been stretched just a bit. I reinserted the pin back into the link, then pushed the end of the collar onto the bare end of the pin. Using gentle pressure and a "pusher" slightly larger this time, I was able to shove the collar back onto the pin, inside the link.

That all made sense as I was typing it out, hope it came out that way :) far easier to visualize once you have the bracelet in front of you. Just remember that the collar will more than likely end up riding up onto your pusher, so you might think you lost it. And DON"T do this anywhere w/ carpet, especially your first time attempting it, as you WILL lose 1 (I lost 2 :D my first attempt).
