Jason, warm welcome to 3Thand6.gif. I have the Dievas Kampy in sapphire. Purposely I got the sapphire and not the acrylic because I was very concerned about strength and durability. Acrylic glass does not possess these qualities when compared to sapphire. For sure you know that sapphire hardly cracks BUT can be easily pock-marked while acrylic is easy to crack but hard to pock-mark. Here's a shot of my Kampy: In my opinion, while acrylic glass may add a few points towards making a watch "vintage" or "historical", it's the actual watch case and design itself that makes the home run. If you want my opinion, go for sapphire. You'll never regret it.
