I tried Laphroig at a pipeshow and just couldnt get to like it. For some reason it tasted like medicine to me.
I do like Glenrothes though too, also some Dalmore cigar malt (no longer made I hear) isnt too bad either.
Brian, try it again. I also didn't like it the first time I tried it. It tasted like whisky scraped from the soil....but that's exactly why it is so unforgettable a taste...yahoo.gifOnly after the 3rd try did I get to like it. Now, I always have a little in stock.
