Meaning “invincible” in Latin, Invicta watches were actually made as early as 1837. Founder Raphael Picard wanted to bring people high quality Swiss watches at affordable prices. The company began its history in La Chaux-de-fonds, Switzerland.

I fondly recalled when Invicta Watches of yester-year
were a timepiece that was worthy to an Eterna,Longines,
Certina or a Mido. Of course, that was a sentiment held by
a relative of mine who still owns a 1950's manual chronograph.

Eyal Lalo is an embarrassment to every honest CEO
in the watch industry. Watch Time Magazine, even wrote an article about Eyal Lalo a few months ago!

Sad state of affairs.
not the same company Simon....Invicta/Italy is still there under the Sector Group but Eyal is N.America Invicta with no ties to one another...the search engine has much on this subject from years past...ThumbsUp02.gif
