I don't own a Monstrum, but I did remove the Sea Angler bezel to repair some damage I did on a door latch. I was able to get it off; but I would not advise doing it. The spring holding the bezel to the case rides in a very narrow groove which tends to deform, as the spring itself isn't round. It completes a circle through a series of shallow bends, leaving a dozen or more corners around its circumference.
