, SO THE SPRINGBAR BENER WORKED. MARK I PURCHASED THE SPRINGBARS THAT YOU SHOWED ME FROM OFRIE & NO SUCH LUCK.......WASTE OF $$$..BUT MY JEWELER LOANED ME THE SPRINGBAR BENDER & VIOLA IT WORKED LIKE A CHARM.......

IF ANY OF YOU FINE GENTLEMAN WOULD LIKE TO USE THEM (THE SRINGBAR BENDER) I WILL MAIL THEM TO YOU

Glad it worked William!!...The brute force method I used to bend my bars before definitely resulted in a slightly yielded area of the metal along the springbar which in the long term could be subject to failure of the springbar.

I ended up ordering some "factory bent" springbars from panatime...haven't had a chance to install them yet, but they should do the trick too.thumbsup.gif
