...but as Tony said I was equally shocked at the price which is more in line with a Swiss chrono movement than a Asian Seagull ST19 imo...

It's not a ST movement, its the TY2901SK. I have been pleased with the movement. I don't understand how the price of this piece has folks surprised, but someone charging over $1k for a ETA 2824 doesn't raise any eyebrows. The ability to get the number 1 was also a huge factor for me. I have the Android tourbillon, so I knew Android would do this one justice.
it's a Seagull movement however it is named and may be called whatever but most of us know it as the ST19...great movement but not costly...Android makes a sweet watch and I own more than a few from Wings early days some 8 years ago.
...no one is trying to slight you but it is obvious your are new to watches and largely influenced by the SNBC watch forum which is operated by a host of the shows whose job is to sell watches and blow smoke...reality is that this Android being #1 will still only depreciate over time...
....stick around and learn my friend,we only want to help with experience...many of us here were in the same boat at one time....it's shocking at 1st but I went through the same learning process. I was warned many years ago just as I am warning you about the BS being spoken and now posted by those involved with Slopnbc...unfortunately the WIS who hold knowledge are for some reason the ones least listened to these days.jmho
