it's not that soft Will..it is a bronze alloy which was discussed in the Benarus forum last year when the watch was being talked about...same as the Anonimo....I only stated that if someone were to use a case hardened screw that it may not need to be tapped/threaded on the small end and should be able to forge threads on it's own...this faux screw springbar is very secure and I don't see why anyone would want to replace it with a screw?..this springbar is thick in the center much like a Panny tube that is used to reinforce their screw lug...
Ok, I see!
But my question was also: Is there any thread there or I dream it? After, everybody is free to use it or not, like on a Pam...happy1.gif great question and now I understand Will...after taking my loupe and checking the lug hole it is indeed threaded on the smaller end and a single sided threaded lug-screw ie: Panerai can be used.
... which after actually checking out what came in the packaging a set of actual lug-screws are included with the BronzMO along with the springbars...DOH!
You went way too fast man! Xmass feelings?laughing.gif
Cool stuff that screws can be used! YEP!...excitement and the fact that 11am is wayyyyy tooo early in the morning for me to see things straight ...looks like Ralf & Steve covered all bases Will!
...and TY William...you need to get on the next list Buddy!
