The main point of these forums is supposed to be to have fun with a hobby we enjoy.  You're a wet blanket -- you need to learn some tact.  I know a Sandoz isn't a Rolex, and of course I'm not installing a $400 bezel insert -- that would be idiotic.  However, the case design on a Sandoz is extremely similar to a Rolex, and, it has a very nice ETA 2824-2 movement in it.  I'm a mechanical engineer, and have designed many, many . . . many! part over the years, and I can say that the differences in the cases between Rolex and Sandoz is minimal, and looking at them purely from the materials and design details, Rolex's are way, way overpriced.  There is no magic in Rolex cases -- they're machined out of 316 stainless using the same CNC machines that most of the other watches in the world are made of.
