 Some crystals has AR coating on both sides. Making the top film scratchable...
In my opinion, it's better to only have the film inside. Anyway, as is saying Oscar, a glass glare and the film just reduce the glaring to a non-blinding effect, it don't cancel it totally.

If you want a glass who don't glare at all 100%, use a level 12 welding glasstoon1.gif
