I weighed my Panerai with boxes and everything and it weighs 1,8KG, so its impossible that a Panerai would weigh 1,4KG wrapped up in a box for shipping. That is absolutely something that makes your case stronger as the weight pretty much makes it impossible for it being a Panerai with box in that box from the beginning.
