I've come to realize (a few years ago due to much head scratching on my part), that when you step into a Rolex (or Patek, and a few other significant brands), you really are stepping into a valid investment and getting to enjoy a great timepiece in the process. These brands have mastered supply/demand in production, price control at AD's, and regular program price increases to ensure that you stand a better than great chance of experiencing price appreciation in a piece you choose to acquire (especially if acquired in the preowned market). I'm sure there are many 3T WIS that own the great R brand that could comment on this fact and their experiences in owning one over the long term.

This is all IMO...I don't own a piece from the house of Rolex, but I do hope to own one someday.peace.gif
