I appreciate everyone's replies, puts things in perspective for me. Would anyone here ever go down to just a "normal" number, say pare down the collection to 5 pieces? How would you deal with your significant other having issues with your extensive collection.
If it became an issue, the collection would go!
As for your other question, I would happily live with just three watches. I reckon I could do it with a G-Shock, an Emperor Tuna, and a DSSD. And, if push came to shove, I reckon I could do away with the first two and the DSSD would cover all bases.
