Sorry to hear about your Seiko 5 woe's Jeff!

I only have experience with one Seiko 5, and it has hung in there for the time being (but I admit, it hasn't seen very much action). My Seiko Monsters are the previous model line, and as I'm sure you know...those models have taken everything I can dish out (and I tend to wear them when I know they are going to get knocked around and take a beating...tough as nails).

Very interesting to hear that all of your newer line models have suffered main spring and hair spring issues...which is unacceptable and definitely not on par with what I expect from Seiko (even from their economical line).

I'll be interested to hear what others have experienced.
