Well, this has to be the longest running design I have ever done... I believe it has stretched to 5-6 years now! I can't even remember how many iterations this has gone through. However, after so many changes, failed attempts, unsatisfied designs, we have finally concluded that this is definitely right.

I won't go through the entire development of the watch as it will probably take a book to do that, here are some pictures of how it started out:

The first actual working prototype we completed some 2 years ago:

And after many moons, crazed nights, maybe some chemically induced states of mind, we finalised the design! You will notice the major differences and shifts in design if you compared the left and right image:

1) The case shape is greatly changed to a more angular base that cuts the size down from 55mm to 49mm. The corners are greatly shaved to make it more wearable and integrated with the tapering strap.
2) The pusher is now externalised and made more prominent to match the crown.
3) The rotating disc is only used on the main time as you can't adjust the minute display individually. It also increases legibility.
4) The 'exo frame' is reduced in size and the 4 screws are integrated into the lug design.

Overall, the design is 'tighter', more refined and finished and the reduced case size gives more prominence to the 4 dials. It has been an adventure with this design, we are just glad it is finally finished. Final confirmation prototype is being made now, once done it won't be long before we can launch it.
