Megalodon 2014 Return of the Megalodon If you have been following Benarus over the years, you will already know about the Megalodon. The first edition was released in 2009 and 4 generations of various Megalodons followed. Gen 1, 2, and 3 were steel cased and gen 4 was a titanium model. The Meg 500 was also produced in 2011 and featured an internal bezel and a lower profile 500 meter case.

Now in 2014, we are bringing back the Megalodon in a newly designed steel case. The new Megalodon features the same iconic dial, hands, and overall look that the Megalodon is known for. The new case is where you will see some changes to the lugs. This new shape will allow a better look with various strap options and overall comfort on the wrist while the bezel and case diameter, shape, and water resistance are all true to the original look and feel. The bracelet will also be similar to the original but tapering from 24mm to 22mm and featuring our new adjustable heavy duty divers buckle.

This first new edition to the Megalodon family will be availbale in the 8 options you see below. These options include a black dial with date, a black carbon fiber dial with no date, and a red dial with date. The bezel can be brushed steel or black DLC coated. There is also the option for the all black DLC coated watch. The drawings below are subject to slight changes as we progress with production.

Technical specs for this Megalodon include: 48mm case, 49mm bezel diameter, 53mm lug to lug, 18mm thick, 24mm bracelet, 2500 meters WR, Helium Valve, Anti-Magnetic shroud over a Miyota 9015 mechanical automatic movement, 4.8mm solid steel case back, 4.3mm double domed sapphire crystal, C3 Superluminova on the dial ring, hands, and bezel pip, 3 rubber gaskets in the crown, 2 rubber gaskets in the case back, 1 rubber gasket in the anti-magnetic cage, new heavy duty adjustable divers clasp. More technical drawings and details will be posted as we progress with this project.

Production for this model will be 120 pieces. You may reserve a watch at this time using the codes assigned and the reservation form below. We do not collect a deposit for your reservation.
