 I love asparagus when it is cooked right but I have never had white asparagus, I don't think I have ever seen it.

I grew up on German food, my grandmother was from Germany, lots of different wursts, (love bockwurst and liver sausage....mmmm) schnitzel, sauerkraut, spatzle, lebkuchen, stollen, I miss all that since she has passed on.

Now I get lots of Polish food, my in-laws emigrated after WWII.  We have a little corner market down the street that makes all kinds of sausages, their kielbasa is awesome.
