So, I recently underwent a hunt for a heavy duty bracelet to wear on my Marathon SAR. The SAR OEM bracelet, would have been my first choice but I just didn't want to spend $150.00. My next choice was the Watchadoo. However, I wanted it quickly & didn't want to get into a bidding war & then have to wait for shipping from overseas.

I was a bit bummed out because I was having trouble finding an alternative. That's when I discovered the seller "bandfever" on the bay. $35.00 later & I'm now waiting for this little beauty to arrive.

This appears to be an almost identical version of the bracelet that yamahaki  recently posted here with the exception of the polished outer links. And herein lies the root of the potential upcoming saga. I don't think that I will like this polished/brushed combo on a tool watch such as the SAR. So I fear that I will have to some home brew cosmetic surgery & change to a complete brushed finish. The problem is that I tried this once before, by using a green Scotch Brite pad, with mediocre results.

Can anyone offer some stainless steel brushing techniques? I know that there are some jewelry spefic products out there, but I don't want to have to order anything else off the internet right now. I have a dremel tool & have heard about Scotch Brite attachments for it, but I can't seem to find the attachments locally.
